The easiest way to become a member is to identify 4-5 other local pastors who would be interested in establishing close, personal relationships. A 67 representative will assist in setting up the initial gathering and providing food. 67 will also assist in identifying and training a moderator.
Sometimes an existing group will add a new member. The visiting pastor will be introduced as a potential member. He will sign a confidentiality agreement before the meeting starts. There will be a 1-3 meeting trial to see if both the potential member and the current members agree on the potential member joining the group as a permanent member.
67 groups survive because of confidentiality. What is said duiring the 67 meeting, stays between the pastors at that meeting.
A primary benefit to long-term, confidential meetings is the development of lifelong friendships with pastors who understand you.
